What price comfortable fear-free HypnoBirthing®?
A course with Glenys costs £250 per couple, either in a group or private class. An instalment plan is available.
Iit should be recognised that HypnoBirthing® practitioners are highly trained, provide all the materials as part of the course fee, and are generally charging considerably less for HypnoBirthing® on a per-hour basis than you would be charged for private hypnotherapy consultations.
However......if your baby's due date is on or after 6th April 2009, and you're 25 weeks pregnant or more, you're entitled to a £190 grant to help prepare for the birth of your baby.

When and where do HypnoBirthing® classes run?
The course is designed to be run as five two-and-a-half hour classes, generally as a weekly evening class.
Classes are held in places other than Lincoln, so long as there is a minimum of 2 or 3 couples.
UNIT I - Building a Positive Expectancy
UNIT II - Falling in Love with Your Baby / Preparing Mind and Body
UNIT III - Getting ready to welcome your baby
UNIT IV - Overview of Childbirth-- A Labour of Love
UNIT V - Birthing--Breathing love, Bringing Life - your birth rehearsal
NB: If you are offered a course that is less than 12.5 hours, your therapist may not be a certified HypnoBirthing® practitioner, and you are not receiving the full HypnoBirthing® syllabus. It is recommended that classes take place each week rather than over a weekend. However, a weekend course would be acceptable if time was short!
When should I start the classes?
Somewhere between 25-30 weeks is ideal, as the success of the course is strongly linked to how much practice you do. However, provided you can finish the course before you give birth and you give time to practice, it's still going to help.
